This policy explains what personal information VOYA Specialty Coffee collects through this website, why we collect it, and what you can ask us to do with it.

What we collect, and why

Sample requests

When you request coffee samples we ask for your name, email address and postal address. We use these to prepare and send your samples, and to contact you about that request. We need this information to fulfil your request — without it we cannot send you anything.

The coffees you add to your sample list are stored by your own browser, on your own device, until you submit the request. Nothing is sent to us before you press send.

Enquiries

If you write to us through the contact form we receive your name, email address and message, and use them to reply.

Website statistics

We use Matomo Analytics to understand how the site is used — which pages are read, which coffees are looked at, and roughly where visitors come from. Matomo runs on our own website so these statistics stay in our own database and are not shared with an advertising network.

Matomo Analytics honours your browser’s “Do Not Track” setting if you have it switched on.

Security

This site runs security software that records IP addresses in order to detect and block attacks. These records exist to keep the site available and are not used to identify or profile visitors.

Who else sees your information

Only the people at VOYA who handle your request, our web hosting provider, which stores the site and its data on our behalf, and the delivery service that carries your samples, which needs your name and address to deliver them.

How long we keep it

We do not delete sample requests and enquiries on a fixed schedule. We keep them so that we can look back at what we sent, to whom, and when — which matters when someone comes back to us months or years later about a coffee they liked.

You can ask us to delete your details at any time, and we will.

Your rights

You can ask us to show you the information we hold about you, correct it if it is wrong, or delete it. You can also object to how we are using it. Ask us using the details below and we will respond within one month.

If you are not satisfied with our response, you can complain to the Information Commissioner’s Office at ico.org.uk.
